MAKING EVERYDAY TASKS EASIER / MONTHLY MANAGEMENT REPORTING

Bring your monthly figures
together more easily.

We help collect business figures from the tools and teams you already use, check them and prepare a consistent report. You can see where the numbers came from, which information is missing and what needs a person to review it.

THE WORK BEHIND THE WORKFLOW

Give the handoff
a clear owner.

An attractive dashboard can still tell the wrong story. If sites define revenue differently or a report mixes complete and partial periods, the comparison is unreliable. Reporting work starts with those definitions and source responsibilities.

AN EXAMPLE OF HOW THE WORK COULD FLOW

See the route.
Keep the exceptions visible.

  1. 01

    Collect

Record the expected sources and reporting period.

  2. 02

    Check

Validate coverage, totals and agreed quality rules.

  3. 03

    Explain

Calculate consistent measures with traceable definitions.

  4. 04

    Release

Show freshness, unresolved gaps and the reviewer’s sign-off.

WHEN A PERSON NEEDS TO CHECK

A source team corrects last month’s data. The report records the revision and its effect, so a comparison does not appear to have changed without explanation.

A proposed design using fictional examples. The actual workflow depends on your systems, authority rules and approved scope.

AN EXAMPLE TO TEST

A late branch file stays visible

In a fictional four-site reporting pack, three branches have supplied the current period and one has not. The draft displays the missing branch and the last successful refresh. It does not quietly substitute an old figure. Leadership can distinguish incomplete coverage from a real change in trading.

The deliverable may use a spreadsheet, a reporting platform or a custom interface, depending on the team. AI can assist with a draft explanation only where approved; figures and material claims must trace to the checked data.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

Something your team
can operate.

  • A source-to-measure map and reporting dictionary
  • A repeatable collection and transformation process
  • A pack or dashboard with freshness and coverage indicators
  • A reconciliation checklist and documented operating handover

How we check it works

  1. Withhold a required source and verify the pack marks the period incomplete.
  2. Reconcile selected totals back to the approved source extract.
  3. Test a revised prior period and make the revision understandable.
  4. Check access by role, refresh failure and recovery after a missed run.

Checks are adapted to the selected workflow and signed off with the responsible team before wider use.

TIME, COSTS & SUPPORT

Scope the work
before the build.

Begin with sample-led discovery: the sources, decisions, exceptions and supported interfaces. Agree a bounded pilot, compare it with the current process and complete the recovery and handover checks before rollout.

Multi-team investigation and implementation can run across several days and reporting cycles. The written proposal separates consultant effort, elapsed delivery time, licensing, training and ongoing support. A fixed one-day promise would hide the work needed.

A PRACTICAL QUESTION
Will you replace our spreadsheets?

Only if the scope supports it. A well-controlled spreadsheet can remain part of the process. We assess source quality, maintainability, licences and the team’s working habits before recommending a replacement.
