USE WHAT YOUR TEAM ALREADY HAS

Start with the work on someone’s desk.

A customer reply that takes too long. A report assembled from several documents. A spreadsheet that needs a careful second look. We shape the session around agreed tasks and your organisation’s approved tools, so the practice feels familiar.

Training is available for established businesses, larger organisations and charities. We can work with a single department or plan separate cohorts for different roles.

THE PRACTICAL SKILLS

Useful on the next
working day.

Exercises are agreed before the session.
Features depend on your tools and licences.

01

Choose the right tool

Compare the tools your organisation permits against the task, available features, privacy requirements and licence costs. Work with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Microsoft Copilot where appropriate; model availability is checked before delivery.

02

Write instructions that hold up

Give the task, approved source material, constraints, examples and the required output format. Build reusable prompt templates, test ambiguous requests and improve instructions when an answer misses the brief.

03

Handle documents and research

Extract actions from meeting notes, compare approved documents and prepare a briefing with traceable sources. Check names, dates, figures and quotations against the originals.

04

Work with spreadsheets

Draft formulas, organise sample data and explain a calculation. Check totals and edge cases in a test copy before using the result in a report or operational spreadsheet.

05

Improve everyday communication

Prepare customer replies, internal updates, proposals and standard operating procedures from an agreed brief. Keep ownership, tone and final approval with the people responsible.

06

Keep the work safe

Recognise fabricated answers, misleading sources and instructions hidden in documents. Practise with fictional or approved examples and agree what must stay out of AI tools.

AN EXERCISE WE CAN WORK THROUGH

Turn notes into
a checked action list.

Start with fictional meeting notes. Compare a vague request with a structured instruction, then verify each action against the source. Discuss what the tool missed and how to improve the brief.

A REUSABLE STARTING POINT
Use only the meeting notes below. List actions explicitly agreed in the meeting. For each action, give the owner, deadline and supporting sentence. Write “not stated” where a detail is missing. Flag conflicting instructions. Do not invent a task or a deadline.

Review the answer against the notes before sharing it. Clear instructions help; they cannot guarantee a correct answer.

01 / TEAM TRAINING

Focused team session

90 minutes · live online

One team, one recurring task. Establish a shared starting point, demonstrate the approved tool and practise a reusable prompt.

02 / TEAM TRAINING

Workplace essentials

Half day · up to 12 participants

A practical introduction using agreed examples from your work. Covers tool selection, clearer instructions, output checks and a starter prompt pack.

03 / TEAM TRAINING

Applied workflow day

Full day · up to 12 participants

Work through selected tasks in greater depth, test the outputs and document a small set of repeatable workflows. Includes a follow-up review.

04 / TEAM TRAINING

Team adoption programme

Two training days + two online clinics

Spread learning over four weeks, with time between sessions to try the agreed workflows. Review what worked, resolve difficulties and prepare an internal handover pack.

Practical cohorts are kept small so participants can get help. Larger briefings, additional facilitators, specialist preparation and multi-site programmes are quoted separately. Software subscriptions, venue costs and travel are itemised in advance. International on-site delivery is scoped around the location and itinerary; remote delivery is also available.

SCHOOLS & COLLEGES

Support the staff.
Teach thoughtful use.

Separate sessions for adults and pupils.
Planned with your school’s responsible staff.

Staff CPD & INSET

Practise lesson-resource drafting, adapting explanations and routine administration with fictional or approved materials. Review curriculum accuracy, accessibility and the work a teacher must check before use. Leadership sessions can cover tool selection and a school’s approach to AI.

Supervised pupil workshops

Explore how AI can get things wrong, compare answers with trustworthy sources and learn to acknowledge permitted assistance. Sessions are adapted to the year group and school policy, with school staff present. Younger pupils can take part through adult-led demonstrations and activities without personal chatbot accounts.

Plan the visit properly

Before booking, agree the age group, supervision, safeguarding arrangements, suitable trainer checks, accessibility needs and permitted tools. Any hands-on accounts must meet the provider’s current age and consent requirements. Exercises use fictional data and do not require pupil names, records or photographs.

Protect independent learning

Use AI to discuss and check ideas within the school’s rules. Work submitted for assessment must follow the relevant awarding body’s requirements; AI-generated work must not be passed off as a pupil’s own.

School enquiries are made by an adult representative. For international schools, local safeguarding, privacy and assessment requirements are reviewed before the programme is agreed.

AFTER THE SESSION

Keep the skills
inside your team.

Agree what participants should be able to do, then check it with a representative exercise. Where useful, compare completion time and output quality before and after practice. Report what the exercise shows, including mistakes and limits.

Training can reveal a process worth redesigning or automating. We can assess that separately once your team understands the task and the constraints.
