A convincing answer can still be wrong.
Compare an AI-generated explanation with a reliable source. Find unsupported claims, missing context and invented references using examples selected for the age group.

A practical AI literacy day brought to your school. Supervised workshops help pupils check answers, protect their information and use AI thoughtfully within your school’s rules.
Generative AI is already part of many digital tools. It can help explore an idea, but it can also invent facts, reinforce bias or offer an answer that bypasses the learning. Access alone does not teach a child how to recognise those limits.
We plan with an adult school representative. Your school chooses the learning aims, permitted tools and age groups. Younger pupils can take part through adult-led demonstrations and offline activities without creating personal chatbot accounts.
Examples change with the age group.
The responsibility to check stays.
Compare an AI-generated explanation with a reliable source. Find unsupported claims, missing context and invented references using examples selected for the age group.
Describe a task, set boundaries and choose a useful format. Compare two instructions and discuss why their outputs differ. Clear prompts help; they cannot make an answer infallible.
Practise deciding what should stay out of a chatbot. Use fictional examples to discuss privacy, misleading content and when to ask a trusted adult for help.
Discuss the school’s rules, acknowledge permitted help and explain an answer in your own words. Activities protect independent thinking and follow assessment requirements.
We provisionally plan a school-day window of around six hours, including breaks. This can contain repeated workshops for different cohorts rather than six hours of screen time for one group. Your final timetable, workshop lengths, group sizes and number of facilitators are agreed in writing.
An initial planning conversation covers the year groups, approximate numbers, rooms, accessibility, devices and supervision. Larger schools may need additional facilitators or several days. Staff CPD and INSET sessions can be quoted alongside the pupil programme or separately.
Gemini, ChatGPT or other tools are used only where your school approves them and the current provider, age, account and privacy requirements are met. Managed education accounts have different conditions from personal accounts. We check the proposed setup before agreeing hands-on activities.
There is no automatic whole-school price. We quote for the actual timetable and delivery effort. Software licences, if needed, are agreed separately. No formal accreditation is implied.
School staff remain present. The school and 114 Labs agree required trainer checks, visitor procedures and how questions or concerns will be handled before delivery. We do not claim a particular clearance or school endorsement without evidence.
Exercises use fictional or approved material. No pupil names, records, images or personal accounts are required for the initial enquiry. School policy and relevant assessment rules govern permitted assistance.
Our planning follows DfE guidance on generative AI in education and school data-protection guidance. These sources relate to England; requirements elsewhere in the UK and internationally are checked for the engagement.
Choose pupils, staff or both, add the year groups and approximate numbers, then confirm your adult account email. We review the request and agree the scope. Your portal lets you request a preferred date; the visit and any payment terms require human confirmation and a written quote.
